Acceptance International
WHO ARE WE?
Acceptance International is a non-profit making organisation working alongside human rights ethics that hopes to educate the world into eliminating extremism. We hope to alert all persons about the violations made against human rights for extremist ideologies and practices or activities.
WHAT ARE WE HOPING TO ACHIEVE?
Our goal is the elimination of extremism in all its forms. Our aim is to spread a culture of tolerance, acceptance and recognising that every human being is different from looks to faith or ideas. Basic respect of human rights is paramount. Preventing the spread of any kind of extremism, any extreme way of thinking, any ideology of violence and hatred especially to children or students via monitoring of the worldwide media, religious preaching in places of worship or other places, political speeches, ideological calls, propaganda, prints, school books and so on will be our ongoing mission. We would highlight everything that may provoke, encourage, advertise or celebrate extremism, and then we work on confronting it and proposing alternative methods to achieve the same goal other than that of extremism. Acceptance International would work on educating others to increase a culture of tolerance, moderation, peace and love. Making and publishing studies and researches concentrated on this aspect by unveiling the extreme content of many actions, beliefs and ideas that are regarded as “normal” in their local environment. Witnesses would also work as an observer and monitor worldwide what is being broadcast and published to stop any extreme content from being transmitted to the public.
HOW TO ACHIEVE IT?
To inform individuals, the media, companies, religious institutions and any other means that either intentionally or unintentionally promotes, advertises or teaches extremism. Once they are informed we shall provide them with an alternative solution of how to get their message across without it having extremist connotations. Promoting global ethical values agreed by common sense within the form of the declaration of human rights. The alternative culture we are calling for and working on spreading is based on the Universal Declaration of Human Rights with the values in it that should be accepted by all human beings (nations and individuals) Once applied they would permit every human the minimum amount of dignity. Human, regardless of their origins, belief, race, religion or geographical place, should be regarded the main value and the base of all other values in the universe. Acceptance International believes in the importance of defending this value, freedom and dignity of human which is threatened by the various forms of extremism, whether they are political, religious, national, racial and cultural.
WHY?
We believe that extremism forms the ideological ground that encourages fundamentalism, terrorism and racism. We notice that extremism is rife and getting much worse and this encourages the negative behaviour that we need to discourage. It is noticeable that extremism is becoming rife in various places in the world, in the orient and the occident and this needs some urgent action to be taken in order to stop the consequence of this extremism. We in Acceptance International believe that the challenge imposed by extremists on human beings is enormous and that being careless about this fact and taking no action will help to increase this phenomenon. We in Acceptance International are ringing the bell of danger to attract attention to extremism as this phenomenon resulted in the suffering and loss of millions of valuable human lives bringing lots of misery and sorrow to the lives of many people and nations throughout history.
WHAT ARE WE ASKING OF YOU?
To support us by the means of sponsorship, publicity, input of your views and acceptance that extremism should be confronted wherever it may appear and to build a culture of tolerance and moderatness. You can also help us by informing us of any incident of extremism you recognise in the media, in a speech of a political or public figure or alike so we can take the appropriate and necessary action. Donate To Help Confronting Extremism Any amount could help, and it is defiantly batter than nothing.
